There is a lot of content out on the world wide web. This newsletter is another one in that sea trying to make sense and help others make sense of their role. My aim with this newsletter is to develop a daily habit of learning - my hypothesis being that reading things over years will automatically help in creating relevant mental frameworks, that help navigate your job and career (it is something that has surely helped for me).
However reading so much without acting on them is also quite futile. It is important to retain and apply these frameworks as and when needed. What I do is I document my framework in a note and review it once a month and keep updating it when I come across new experiences or options. Others have their own ways. I came across one such model recently which I applied in parts and found useful.
You can have your own methods as well - and no need to change if something is working. Today’s article is to just show some ways of retaining and applying information you read. Hope it is useful - have a great weekend!
