In my last post, I covered a bit of technical things on how product analytics is set up. Today I am going to go even more technical than that. Today is about the most ubiquitous thing in software development today, the term you simply cannot ignore as a PM - that is API.
APIs are so common these days that everyone just assumes people know how they work. Unfortunately that is not the case with most of the folks I interact with. Fortunately that is why dailyPM exists for most people.
While as a PM, you would not be using or reading APIs a lot, it is nevertheless important to know what constitutes an API and how it works. This is something you can keep going back to when engineering throws a bunch of buzzwords to extend timelines. No offence intended of course.
