Yesterday’s post talked about how good written communication can lead to great investment outcomes. Of course, there are other things like a product solving a problem, some paying customers etc that investors want to see- points, which if you have read this newsletter, should also be covered in past or sometime in future.
Along with yesterday’s article, I also came across a format from a well known product company on how they grew explosively to 20 million users. Any time a great product company puts their process out in public, it is worth the time to read it. Like I clarified yesterday, going through this doesnt necessarily mean you change your own or your company’s process, but its good to treat all these items as a checklist and use certain points as and when you see fit.
Today is a company not spoken before on this newsletter, and frankly I have only heard good things about it, never used it. It does seem to have a great product culture and its growth seems to be one of the outcomes of that. The article I share today says it is product ‘alignment’ document, though it can fit into the mould of a PRD as well. Hope you enjoy!
